    This Leeds based Network firm are seeking a motivated and qualified Trainee Financial Adviser to join the growing team. 

    This is an excellent opportunity for a Level 4 Diploma qualified individual who is ready to transition into an advisory role within a supportive, client-focused firm. You will receive mentoring and hands-on exposure by shadowing experienced advisers in client meetings, alongside office-based technical development and case work. This role is designed as a clear pathway toward becoming a fully competent Financial Adviser.
     
    This is a blended position combining in-office technical work with supervised client exposure.
     

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Shadowing advisers in client meetings (fact-finding, reviews, suitability discussions)
    • Supporting the preparation of suitability reports and recommendation documentation
    • Conducting research across pensions, investments, and protection markets
    • Assisting with ongoing client servicing and annual review processes
    • Ensuring compliance with FCA regulatory standards and internal procedures
    • Progressing toward Competent Adviser Status (CAS)
  • What will you need to succeed?

  • Essential:
    •  Full Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent)
    •  Strong understanding of financial planning principles, suitability requirements, and FCA regulations
    •  Professional, articulate, and client-focused approach
     Desirable:
    • Previous industry experience (e.g. paraplanning, mortgage advice, financial services administration)
    • Exposure to pensions, investments, and protection planning
    • Experience using CRM/back-office systems
