We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced business development professional in the North West of England and Scotland who enjoys building strong relationships and helping others succeed.
In this varied and rewarding role, you’ll play a key part in supporting and growing Milecross’s presence across your region. You’ll work closely with the Regional Manager to help drive business performance, identify new opportunities for growth, and contribute to broader initiatives that support the business nationally.

A core part of your role will be welcoming new practices and advisers into Milecross. You’ll coach and support them as they get established, helping to shape clear, achievable business plans and providing ongoing guidance to keep things moving forward. Your responsibilities will include:
- Work directly with advisers to help develop their performance, knowledge and skills.
- Line management responsibility for employed advisers
- Support both organic growth and acquired businesses and client books.
- Provide practical support and guidance to the sales operations in the region and across the wider group as required, including incoming practice principals, key advisers, employed advisers and practice management.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, expand the customer base, maximise our offering for
- clients and encourage business growth.
- Set performance expectations and provide regular feedback.
- Work as a supervisor to ensure that all financial services activities within the region comply with Openwork, Milecross and industry regulatory requirements.
- Along with the wider Milecross management team build and maintain strong relationships with key contacts and providers within the region.
- Act as a key point of contact for technical, product and sales process queries and stay updated on market trends, competition,
- and customer preferences to make informed decisions and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks that may impact Milecross Financial Solutions
- Be a proactive and key part of the Milecross team, setting positive forward agendas and strategies for success,
- Ensure you and the advisers in your region(s) fully observe all regulatory and compliance requirements at all times.
